Ready for a real proposal?

Share a few details and we will set up a walk of your property.

What comes with every K&D proposal

Your range covers more than mowing and blowing. These are part of how we care for every property, and part of why our pricing sits where it does.

Quiet electric equipment

Our crews run electric mowers, blowers, and trimmers. Residents, tenants, and guests hear conversations, not engines, and there are no exhaust fumes at entries and patios.

Autonomous mowing

Large, open turf areas can be cut by autonomous mowers. The turf stays even, and our crews spend their hours on the detail work people notice.

On qualifying properties

Water management team

Irrigation specialists watch controllers, schedules, and usage so your property uses less water without losing its look.

Fire mitigation team

For properties in fire-prone areas, our team flags fuel and defensible-space risks during routine care, before they become a problem.

Crews who stay

We invest in our people, so the crew that learns your property keeps caring for it, season after season.

When you compare bids, compare crew hours, visit frequency, and what is included, not only the monthly total.

Frequently asked questions

Is this a bid?

No. It is a planning range built from contracts we maintain today. Your proposal comes after a site walk, and it spells out exactly what is included and how often.

How do you price landscape maintenance?

By crew hours. We estimate the hours it takes to care for your site over a year, which depends on its size, how much of it is landscaped, the terrain, and the level of care, then price those hours at our rate. Contracts are billed monthly.

Should I enter the total site size or the landscaped area?

The total site size is fine. That is how our ranges are built. The question about how much of the site is landscaped adjusts for buildings and parking. If you only know the landscaped area, enter that and choose “Mostly landscape.”

Can I use this range for a budget or board packet?

Yes, as a planning figure. The ranges reflect contracts we hold today and are updated every quarter. For a reserve study or a formal budget, request a site walk and we will provide a written proposal.

What is included in standard care?

Scheduled visits for mowing, edging, blowing, bed care, weed control, pruning, and irrigation checks. Enhanced care and show quality add frequency, detail, and seasonal work. Extras such as seasonal color, mulch, tree care, and fire fuel reduction are priced separately.

Why might your proposal be higher than other bids?

Sometimes it is. Our pricing covers quiet electric equipment, crews who stay with your property, and guidance from our water management and fire mitigation teams. Upgrades and project work, such as new smart controllers or fuel reduction, are quoted separately. When you compare bids, check crew hours, visit frequency, and what is included, not only the monthly total.

Do you work in my area?

We maintain properties in Santa Cruz County, Monterey County, San Luis Obispo County, and Santa Clara County, including San Jose and the greater Silicon Valley.

Is there a minimum contract size?

Our maintenance contracts start around $500 a month. Sites over 50 acres are priced from a site walk.

How often are these numbers updated?

Every quarter. The date at the bottom of the page shows when the ranges were last refreshed.

Ranges on this page are based on K&D Landscaping annual maintenance contracts active in 2025 and 2026, using measured site acreage and estimated crew hours for each property. Adjustments for landscape share, terrain, property type, and service level are planning estimates. They do not constitute a bid, offer, or guarantee of price. Every property is priced individually after a site walk. Ranges last updated October 21, 2026.
